Surprisingly, I've thought about this a lot. Now, I didn't read the 27 page abstract that may have mentioned this but if a keeper makes a habit of staying put, scouts and shooters will note the tendency and shoot left and right more often. An occasional non-dive could help I suppose.
seems like this would only hold for a while, once you got known as a goal keeper who stays put, you would have to alter your strategy
